Darren Espanto's Fracture Due to Accident in Canada

Darren Espanto is now seen wearing a splint on his left hand that extends up to his forearm. This is because Darren had an accident when he was in Canada recently. He was on his way to a "meet and greet" event in Vancouver, when he slipped and fell on his left wrist. This caused a slight fracture on that wrist, called a "buckle" fracture. Darren said it is a common injury in children, but it is expected to heal quickly, most probably in about three weeks.

It has been raining in Vancouver when Darren Espanto and his fellow The Voice artists, Mitoy Yonting and Klarisse de Guzman, were there to do a series of shows. This might have caused the floor to be too slippery. Darren described that Vancouver's sidewalks were made of pieces of rocks put together. There was a part that seemed to be going down, and that was where he accidentally slipped. He used his left hand to support himself as he fell, and it got bent backwards.

It was Darren's first time to go back to his hometown in Canada after being a finalist of The Voice Kids. On his interview with MJ Felipe that aired on Bandila, he said he had missed being there and he was so excited when they arrived, that he went straight to his room. He was able to see some of his friends at the concert. Darren was ecstatic because their shows were very successful. Here's the proof ...

Despite his fracture, Darren keeps up with his commitments, like rehearsals for the forthcoming concert, The Voice Kids All In Concert on December 6 at the PICC.
